Why people choose Amino Collagen #2

The use of 5000mg *1 of FISH-derived collagen peptide.

FISH-derived collagen is 1.5 times more absorbable than pig-derived collagen.

*1

The benchmark amount necessary for a day is 5000 mg because about one-third of the amount of protein we need per day, or 20 g, comprises collagen in our body, and because collagen is metabolized about 4 or more times slower than other proteins.

20 g÷4=5 g=5000 mg
[As advised by Prof. Shushichi Takahashi, Doctor of Pharmacology]

Amino Collagen is made from extremely pure and highly absorbable fish collagen peptide.
That's why there's 5000 mg!
Amino Collagen is made from 100% low-molecular fish collagen (collagen peptide),which offers higher levels of absorption than pig-derived collagen and contains only 27 kcal. After purification, the selected ingredient is made into low-molecular collagen through our own enzyme processing. The transparency of the solution proves the purity!

Why people choose Amino Collagen #3

Amino Collagen Q & A top
Q. Are collagen supplements necessary for someone in their 20s like me?

A. Did you know that collagen starts to decrease drastically after age 20? Factors such as ultraviolet light and stress accelerate the loss of collagen. As for beauty care, the early bird catches the worm. An early start is recommended.

Q. Are there any supplements I shouldn't take with Amino Collagen?

A. No, But if in doubt, please seek medical advice.

Q. Will I gain weight?

A. 1 spoon (about 7 g) of Amino Collagen contains 27 kcal and only 0.08 g of fat only. You can take it even when you are on a diet.

Q. Can I heat it?

A. You can heat or cool it without affecting the components.

Prof. Takahashi's Lecture!

What do you know about collagen?

Prof. Shushichi Takahashi Doctor of Pharmacology
Guest professor at the California Institute for Human Science Graduate School and Research Center.
He has been studying the functions of collagen since he was a professor at the College of Pharmacy at Nihon University.

It's handy to consume collagen through supplements rather than in the diet.

It would be best if you could consume sufficient collagen from your diet, but meat and fish contain only a small amount. Also, milk, eggs, vegetables and soybeans contain no collagen. Supplements are ideal for consuming 5000 mg a day!

Choose an effective product that is higher in absorption level.

There are many kinds of collagen products, so choose one that is absorbed well by your body. I think this is an effective shortcut for achieving beauty.

"I wouldn't have continue taking Amino Collagen for 5 years since 2003 if I didn't feel the effects. "
Mr. Shimada agrees with the concept behind Amino Collagen that beauty is not just skin-deep, and must be created from the inside of your body.
"There's a limit to what you can do from the outside of your body. It's important to make a foundation for beauty inside the body. My wife and I have been drinking Amino Collagen together for 5 years everyday since 2003."

1. Please advise what is the main concept behind your Amino Collagen recipes?

I intended the recipes to be easy to follow, so I tried to use ingredients that people are familiar with and are most likely to have in their kitchens.

2. When did you first become more conscious of your diet and food preparation in general?

It began about 6 years ago, when my husband's hectic work schedule took a toll on his health. It got me thinking about the health and beauty benefits that can be derived from food.

3. Where and how do you derive inspiration for your recipes?

When I go shopping at the supermarket! The sight of food excites me and the ideas come naturally. I try to write them down as soon as possible so I won't forget them.

4. Describe to us a cooking experience that has touched you most. In addition, have there been incidents where your mother's cooking impressed you?

My most unforgettable cooking experience was in the summer of 2007, at the wedding ceremony of a good friend. There, I witnessed the goodness of French cuisine. As for my mother, she used to cook a lot for me during the holidays. She always uses a lot of vegetables in her cooking, and the dishes will be served with rice. Simple yet delectable food that warms the heart.

5. What are the points you would consider when preparing a menu for a home party?

For the main dish, I will usually choose to serve meat or fish, or both. It all depends on the number of people coming for the party. I also like to make sure that the food are all in manageable serving sizes and can be easily picked up by chopsticks.
Other than meat, I might also serve starters, vegetables and desserts. The type of alcohol and drinks to accompany the food also has to be considered. Being able to make an effort to prepare a special menu for different people and their tastes brings me great joy.
I also think it would be interesting to prepare Italian or Thai fare.

6. Please tell us some of your successful or failed cooking attempts.
Success No. 1:

I always have a fun time preparing all the dishes instead of getting takeaways from a restaurant. Cooking is a great way to exercise my imagination to explore how certain food can be prepared differently to suit different occasions. I treat all my guests as an audience and myself as a 'director', and try to put up a good 'show' (i.e. whip up a good meal) for them.

Success No. 2:

Soon after our marriage, my husband invited three of his university schoolmates to our home. As a new wife, I felt a little pressure at having to prepare meals to serve the guests. However, I was glad my effort paid off when I saw how they enjoyed the food and were having a good time.

Failure:

I once made Chawanmushi (custard egg bowl) and served it to a guest without realizing that the egg was still undercooked and watery. Or, I forget about the time and burn my food in the oven. Nowadays I write everything down so as to keep track properly.

7. We read in your blog that when you caught a cold, Chiaki made pasta. Do both of you cook together in the kitchen?

He used to make pasta for me about 5 years ago. Nowadays, due to his hectic schedule, he no longer spends long hours in the kitchen, instead preferring to buy food back or go out for dinner rather than prepare meals at home. However, he will still cook for me whenever I am ill. There is nothing better than a home-cooked meal prepared by someone who cares.

8. What does your husband think of your job as a food consultant?

He thinks my food job is a good thing, but he gets worried when I have to work so hard.

9. If you could own a restaurant, what kind of restaurant would it be?

I would want my restaurant to be known for serving good food and also for providing excellent customer service. It will be a flexible place where one can relax, order takeaways or be able to eat by themselves. 2 separate areas will be available - 1 for the drinkers and 1 for the diners.

10. What happens to you when you cook? / How does cooking change your mood?

Cooking makes me very happy physically and mentally. I am unable to find a word to describe it but the closest would probably be 'bliss'.

11. Any there any areas that we should pay attention to when using Amino Collagen in your suggested recipes?

Since amino collagen can be used in all temperatures, you can add it to almost anything. Just a consideration that since it is in powder form, it will need to be dissolved first, before use. Using one spoonful of amino collagen is sufficient, so the taste of it will not overpower the other ingredients.

12. Do tell us your secret to making AC work so well for your health and beauty.

Just take it daily and continue with life with great enjoyment and imagination!

What is the key to beautiful skin?
What is the correct way to apply make-up?
Reading this just might answer those plaguing questions!

top
Q. How can I use make-up to make my nose look longer?
A.
I recommend first applying liquid foundation, and then highlighting the T-zone using a somewhat bright concealer. Draw the highlight line such that it is widest between the eyebrows and gradually narrows toward the tip of the nose. Then lightly tap it with your fingertip to blend it in, but be careful not to spread the narrow line out. After that, apply a slightly dark foundation to the nostrils to give some light-dark contrast and your nose will look even more pronounced. Last, gently apply face powder over your entire face to keep the effect looking natural.
Q. I have typical single-edged eyelids. Please tell me how to apply my eye make-up to make them look gentle and prevent them from giving an unfriendly impression.
A. Long eyelashes and use of color are effective for people with single-edged eyelids who want to give a gentle impression.First use an eyelash curler to curl your eyelashes up as much as possible. Then apply long-type mascara. This way, even people with single-edged eyelashes can have cute, round-looking eyes if you make it look like the entire eyelash all the way to the tip is part of the eye itself.
And you'll keep your eyes from having an unfriendly look if you use mascara colors such as brown, Bordeaux, or blue instead of black.
I recommend using false eyelashes for people who think their eyelashes are short. There are many natural-looking false eyelashes in brown and other colors that give a gentle appearance, and they are definitely worth a try. You'll find that they are easier to use and more effective than you imagined.
As for eye color, first of all, you don't want to draw a line that might look aggressive. And you should choose soft, gentle pastel tones, such as lavender or pale blue.

Q. Where and how should you use highlights for a beautiful effect?
A. Highlights are applied around the eyes, meaning your upper and lower eyelids, and to the T-zone.
You should use a somewhat soft concealer. Apply it after applying foundation, lightly pat it in with your finger, and then put a gentle coat of face powder over your entire face. In other words, if you apply the highlights when you are creating the base, the effect will last all day long.

Q. I'm concerned about my narrow cheeks. Is there a way to make them look fuller?
A. I'll show you how to make your cheeks look fuller by using bright colors, which have the visual effect of expansion.
First, starting at the bottom of the cheekbone and moving toward the jaw line, apply foundation that is one level brighter than any other area. Next, make soft round strokes with a somewhat large brush in the wide area from the place where the cheekbone rises to below the corner of the mouth. The entire cheek should look softly colored. You should select salmon pink, which gives a rosy complexion, or healthy looking orange-pinks. Use a powder puff to blend in border areas if you have applied a little too much.
Your cheeks should look much fuller and healthier.

Q. Please teach me how to make a plump round face look thinner.
A. Your face will appear thinner if you consciously create vertical lines when applying your make-up.
First, do your eyebrows. Make a slightly angular eyebrow by angling the line from the inside edge of the brow to the peak. Don't position the brow peak too far out. To determine where the brow peak should be, place a pencil vertically against the center of your cheek. The place where it contacts the eyebrow should be the peak. From there, if you draw the line out naturally to the brow's outer edge, your face will look more three-dimensional. Next, do your cheeks. Use brown-beige for its shading effect. Starting under the cheekbone, draw the brush on a slight diagonal up toward the temple. When you arrive at the temple, change the direction of the brush doing a U-turn there to create a natural oval.

Q. Please teach me how to draw eyebrows symmetrically.
A. First, you need a triple mirror in order to draw eyebrows well. That's because you have to draw them while checking your profile. If you look at your profile, especially when drawing the line from the brow peak to the outer edge, you can tell if the angle and length are correct. Regarding your question of how to draw them symmetrically, I would recommend first finding out what your face really looks like to other people. As you know, when you see your face in a mirror, it actually appears reversed. Just using a hand mirror to look at your face already reflected in another mirror will do, so first take a look at what your face really looks like to others. I think you'll be surprised to see that the balance is quite different from the face you're used to seeing. Especially regarding your eyebrows, you should correctly note the balance they have originally. Then, when you draw them, don't try to match one with the other. Rather, try to adjust them to achieve an ideal balance by adding and subtracting where necessary.

Q. I'm the mother of a one-year-old child. Do you have any tips for making myself up to look good in a short amount of time?
A. I'll teach you how to apply make-up in 5 minutes to make you look great. It's perfect for people who are busy and just don't have much time. All you need is powder foundation, mascara, blush, and lip gloss.
Cover your entire face with a light powder foundation, and just apply mascara to your eyes. Lightly apply blush to the part of your cheeks that rises when you laugh. Then apply gloss to your lips. Just doing this is enough to brighten your face and get the proper results from your make-up.
